The president of the National Action Party (PAN) in the State of Mexico, Jorge Inzunza Armas, and Enrique Vargas del Villar – president of the National Association of Mayors (ANAC) -, pronounced on the support of President Andrés Manuel López Obrador, with the approval of the National Guard.
However, they emphasized that López Obrador has six months to improve security in the municipalities, in the states and in the country, otherwise they will ask for his resignation. In Valle de Chalco Solidaridad, Inzunza indicated that the mayor Francisco Tenorio, gave his word to resign from office if he did not comply in six months.
“The term is running out and the municipality continues with high rates of crime”, he said. He added that in the south of the State of Mexico, armed groups intervened to the writs of the secretary general of the PAN, Oscar García Martínez and treasurer Benjamín Alfaro, which shows the high rates of violence throughout the country, without the federal government I can put order.
Meanwhile, Vargas del Villar, pointed out that Andrés Manuel López Obrador, asked for six months to give results in security, so he gave an ultimatum so that in six months there will be results in security or otherwise they will ask for his resignation.
“The country needs a head of state, and not an individual who says that Mexico was founded 10 thousand years ago”,he said.
Regarding the elections that will take place next Sunday, June 2, the mayor of Huixquilucan, said that MORENA is deflated electorally, and that National Action is back in the preferences of citizens and with wide possibilities of success.
